Meaning of Life....

Life is short.
Life is precious.
What are you dreaming about? Go do it. Go make it happen. Go do it despite fear and doubt and the opinions of others. Go do it, because it makes you happy. Go do it, because it makes you come alive.
Who are you holding a grudge against? Decide to forgive them, today, right now. Decide that you will heal, and decide to tell a different story. Give yourself permission to be free, because you are.
Where do you want to visit? Start planning for it, even if you don’t yet have the money. Keep moving in that direction, and I promise you that you will find a way.
Who do you love? When you’re with them, give them your full attention. Create the time and space to connect with them. Put love at the top of your list.
In the end, love is all that matters. Love for our selves, for other people, for our work, for all the unique experiences of life.
Life is simple, but we insist on making it complicated. Let’s make it simple again, by focusing on what matters.

Personal Calling...

We all need to be aware of personal calling. What is personal calling? It is the God's blessing,it is the path that God chose for you here on Earth.Whenever we do something that fills us with enthusiasm,we are following our legend. However,we don't all have the courage to confront our own dream.
Why?
There are four obstacles.First: we are told from childhood onward that everything we want to do is impossible. We grow up with this idea, and as the years accumulate,so too do the layers of prejudice, fear and guilt. There comes a time when our personal calling is so deeply buried in our soul as to be invisible. But it's still there.
If we have the courage to disinter dream,we are then faced by the second obstacle:love. We know what we want to do but are afraid of hurting those around us by abandoning everything in order to pursue our dream. We do not realize that love is just a further impetus, not something that will prevent us going forward. We do not realize that those who genuinely wish us well want us to be happy and are prepared to accompany us on that journey.
Once we have accepted that love is a stimulus,we come up against the third obstacle;fear of the defeats we will meet when it doesn't work out, because we cannot fill back on the old excuse:''Oh i didn't really want it anyway.''We do want it and know that we have staked everything on it and that the path of the personal calling is no easier that any other path, except that our whole heart is in this journey.
Then,we warriors of light must be prepared to have patience in difficult times and to know that the Universe is conspiring in our favor, even though we may not understand how.
I ask myself:are defeats necessary?
Well necessary or not, they happen. When we first begin fighting for our dream,we have no experience and make many mistakes. The secret of life, though,is to fall seven times and to get up eight times.
So,why is it so important to live our personal calling if we are only going to suffer more than other people?
Because once we have overcome the defeats-and we always do-we are filled by the greater sense of euphoria and confidence. In the silence of our hearts,we know that we are proving ourselves worthy of the miracle of life. Each day, each hour,is part of the good fight. We start to live with enthusiasm and pleasure.Intense, unexpected suffering passes more quickly than the suffering that is apparently bearable;the latter goes on for many years and without our noticing, eats away at our soul, until, one day we are no longer able to free ourselves from the bitterness and it stays with us for the rest of our lives.
Having disinterred our dream, having used the power of love to nurture it and spent many years living with the scars,we suddenly notice that what we always wanted is there, waiting for us,perhaps the very next day. Then comes the fourth obstacle:the fear of realizing the dream for which we fought all our lives.
Oscar Wilde said:''Each man kills the thing he loves''.and it's true. The mere possibility of getting what we want fills the soul of the ordinary person with guilt. We look around at all those who have failed to get what they want and feel that we do not deserve to get what we want either. We forget about all the things we had to give up in order to get this far.I have known a lot of people who, when their personal calling was within their grasp, went on to commit a series of stupid mistakes and never reached their goal-when it was only a step away.
This is the most dangerous of the obstacles because it has a kind of saintly aura about it:renouncing joy and conquest.but if you believe yourself worthy of the thing you fought so hard to get, then you become an instrument of God,you help the Soul of the World, and you understand why you are here.

A Creed For Those Who Have Suffered

I asked God for strength, that I might achieve.
I was made weak, that I might learn humbly to obey...
I asked for health, that I might do great things.
I was given infirmity, that I might do better things...
I asked for riches, that I might be happy.
I was given poverty, that I might be wise.....
I asked for power, that I might have the praise of men.
I was given weakness, that I might feel the need of God...
I asked for all things, that I might enjoy life.
I was given life, that I might enjoy all things.....
I got nothing I asked for-but everything I had hoped for.
Almost despite myself,my unspoken prayers were answered.
I am,among men,most richly blessed.

Hugging is

We need 4 hugs a day for survival.
We need 8 hugs a day for maintenance.
We need 12 hugs a day for growth.
                        -Virginia Satir

Hugging is -
Hugging is healthy. It helps the immune system, cures depression, reduces stress and induces sleep. It's invigorating, rejuvenating and has no unpleasant side effects.Hugging is nothing less that a miracle drug.
Hugging is all natural. It is organic, naturally sweet,no artificial ingredients,non-polluting,environmentally friendly and 100 percent wholesome.
Hugging is the ideal gift.Great for any occasion, fun to give and receive, shows you care, comes with its own wrapping and,of course, fully returnable.
Hugging is practically perfect. No batteries to wear out,inflation-proof,non-flattening,no monthly payments,theft-proof and nontaxable.
Hugging is an underutilized resource with magical powers. When we open our hearts and arms,we encourage others to do the same.
Think of the people in your life. Are there any words you'd like to say?Are there any hugs you want to share? Are you waiting and hoping someone else will ask first? Please don't wait!Initiate!

My Declaration of Self-Esteem

What I am is good enough if I would only be it openly - Carl Rogers.
Dedicated to all those who easily loose self confident and self esteem.
Think it this way:
''I am me.''
In all the world, there is not one else exactly like me.There are people who have some parts like me but no one adds up exactly like me.Therefore, everything that comes out of me is authentically mine because I alone choose it.
I own everything about me -my body, including everything it does;my mind, including all my thoughts and ideas;my eyes, including the images of all they behold;my feelings, whatever they might be -anger,joy,frustration,love,disappointment,excitement;my mouth and all the words that come out of it - polite, sweet and rough, correct or incorrect;my voice, loud and soft;all my actions, whether they be to others or myself.
I own my fantasies,my dreams,my hops,my fears.
I own all my triumphs and successes, all my failures and mistakes.
Because I own all of me,I can become intimately acquainted with me.By so doing,I can love me and be friendly with me in all my parts.I can then make it possible for all of me to work in my best interests.
I know there are aspects about myself that puzzle me,and other aspects that I do not know. But as long as I am friendly and loving to myself,I can courageously and hopefully look for the solutions to the puzzles and for ways to find about more about me.
However I look and sound ,whatever I say and do ,and whatever I think and feel at a given moment in time is me.This is authentic and represents where I am at that moment in time.
When I review later how I looked and sounded  what I said and did and how I thought and felt, some parts may turn out to be unfitting.I can discard that which is unfitting and keep that which proved fitting, and invent something new for that which I discarded.
I can see, hear, feel, think, say and do.I have the tools to survive,to be close to others,to be productive,to make sense and order out of the world of people and things outside of me.
I owe me and therefore I can engineer me.
I am me and I am okay.

Love : The one creative force

The day will come when, after harnessing space, the winds, the tides and gravitation,we shall harness for God the energies of love. And on that day,for the second time in the history of the world,we shall have discovered fire..

Spread love everywhere you go: first of all in your house.Give love to your children,to your wife or husband,to a next door neighbor....Let no one ever come to you without leaving better and happier.Be the living expression of God's kindness;kindness in your face, kindness in your eyes, kindness in your smile, kindness in your warm greeting. - Mother Teresa
